We have an excellent opportunity for a recent university graduate to join a specialist interior design and fit-out contractor based in Poole, Dorset as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The business undertakes projects across the commercial, education, hospitality, and public sectors, and cover designs, pre-construction, fit-out, and furniture on CAT A, A+, and B schemes. As a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between £50k - £2.0m.
Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
- Help to manage subcontract procurement
- Help to manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Help to manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
- Help to deal with final accounts
Key Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position:
- Have a recent construction-related degree
- Have some kind of practical experience
- Must have the full right to work in the UK
- Must live within commutable distance to Poole
