An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Design Manager to join a reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor. The Assistant Design Manager will be site based on an Industrial scheme in Kent. With a great reputation in the market, they are known for working with premier blue-chip clients and with the bulk of their work being repeat business they have a great success rate.
You will support and work alongside a Senior Design Manager and project team in the planning, monitoring, review, integration and coordination. This is a great opportunity to work on a challenging project from start to finish and develop your career with a reputable business.
Key Accountabilities:- Ensure best practice principles are followed, design assurance and build ability reviews are carried out on a regular basis, design deliverables met and that alignment with commercial strategy is always maintained.
- Assist the Senior Design Manager in monitoring risk, converting opportunities and in recording, and assessing the impact of change on the project.
- Record all project interactions related to design and capture design approvals, comments, submissions, and reviews carried out on a daily, monthly and/or ongoing basis, driving results and ensuring all design is approved in line with project protocols.
- Preferable to hold relevant professional qualification in a related subject.
- Experience of on-site delivery.
- Experience of working effectively and leveraging relationships within other roles within the site, project team to ensure a cohesive approach to design, procurement, and construction.
