Key Responsibilities of the Freelance Design Manager
Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to delivery.
Ensure design information is delivered on time to meet programme requirements.
Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements, security standards, and buildability.
Lead design team meetings and manage the flow of information between stakeholders.
Work closely with site and commercial teams to resolve design issues and maintain project progress.
Ensure design solutions meet MOD and secure facility requirements.
