Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Basingstoke. The business has a national presence, undertaking projects across a range of sectors including defence, blue light and de-carbonisation valuing up to £15mil. Projects are a mix of refurbishment, fit-out and extensions and will be across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a couple of projects which will be either in pre-construction or live on site. You will be reporting into a Commercial Manager and will likely have junior members of the team reporting into you. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Be involved in pre-construction activities Procure all major sub-contract packages Deal with variations / valuations as they arise Collate monthly CVRs Monthly forecasting Assist in the development of junior surveyors Key Requirements as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Have a proven track record of managing projects commercially from pre-construction through to final account Have experience managing projects valuing up to £15mil Have strong working experience administering JCT / NEC forms of contract Must be able to gain security clearance due to nature of projects Have the full right to work in the UK This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team with plenty of opportunity for progression within the business. They're looking to pay a salary of up to £80k + package.
