Senior Engineer

Role overview:\\n\\nMy client is a World Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.\\n\\nThey are presently delivering a prestigious, circa £200m Civils Project on the western edge of Southampton.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will have experience of similar projects, e.g large concrete structures, 278 works, drainage, earthworks and new roads and footpaths. In the role you will be required to use your initiative and coordinate gangs to maximise efficiency and work in-line with the programme. My client would consider applicants on a freelance or permenent basis.

\\n\\nYou will also be responsible for mentoring and supervising Site and Graduate Engineers.\\n\\nDuties include:\\n\\nSupervising and coordination of the setting out of large concrete structures, roads, earthworks and drainage.\\nManage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors\\nQuality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications\\nAssist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)\\nEnsuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement\\nLiaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification\\nKeep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations\\nProduce as-built drawings in AutoCADBenefits:\\n\\nCompetitive basic salary\\nCompany Car / Car allowance\\nCompany Pension Scheme\\nPrivate Healthcare\\n26 days holiday and all the Bank Holidays\\nTraining & Progression
