About the role of Quantity Surveyor Great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a dedicated team of experienced professionals, committed to consistently delivering high quality results. Undertaking new build, extension and refurbishment projects in Redhill. The projects are in the Education, Commercial & Industrial, Affordable Residential and Community & Leisure sectors. The responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor Manage commercial and contractual arrangements associated with a project and works. Monitor and assess project progress on a monthly basis. Responsible for subcontractor enquiries, selection and order in line with individual project requirements. Ensure business needs are met with regards to profit margin and risk identification. Initiate invoicing of customers for work completed in line with commercial and contractual arrangements in place. Price, negotiate and agree costs and budgets for projects and project variances. Resolve commercial and contractual disputes with the customer. Manage and maximise cash flow to meet company standards and budgets. Produce financial and management reports that monitor project progress.Requirements for Quantity Surveyor Degree qualified and needs to be construction based. Good organisational skills and able to work within project time constraints. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. Excellent communication skills to be able to deal effectively with contractors, site staff, third party suppliers and client team. Excellent motivational and teamwork skills. High level of integrity and drive for excellence.In addition to gaining valuable experience with an established contractor, you’ll take on a dynamic role spanning multiple projects.
