About the role of Quantity Surveyor Great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a dedicated team of experienced professionals, committed to consistently delivering high quality results. Undertaking new build, extension and refurbishment projects between £1m and £12m across Susses and Surrey. The projects are in the Education, Commercial & Industrial, Affordable Residential and Community & Leisure sectors. The responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor Manage commercial and contractual arrangements associated with a project and works. Monitor and assess project progress on a monthly basis. Responsible for subcontractor enquiries, selection and order in line with individual project requirements. Ensure business needs are met with regards to profit margin and risk identification. Initiate invoicing of customers for work completed in line with commercial and contractual arrangements in place. Price, negotiate and agree costs and budgets for projects and project variances. Resolve commercial and contractual disputes with the customer. Manage and maximise cash flow to meet company standards and budgets. Produce financial and management reports that monitor project progress.Requirements for Quantity Surveyor Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
