About this Role: Superb opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to be the construction lead on an £8m refurbishment project in Winchester City Centre, converting an existing office building into teaching and work space. Works include stripping and replacing the roof and windows and changes to the entrance, plus full internal refurbishment. Enabling works are due to commence with site set up in December, and then main works to run throughout the new year, Reporting to the Construction Director you will be responsible for the successful leadership of the project throughout, including management of 1-2 site managers, design development, client liaison, programming of works, logistics, maintaining safe access and walkways, all site-based construction activities, budgetary control with the quantity surveyor, health and safety, quality management, issue resolution, reporting upline and to client on progress, and ultimately the handover of the building. You will take responsibility for the delivery building on time, budget and specification ensuring the safety of the workforce throughout.
