Role: Plasterer Location: Farnham Contract type: Temporary (Full time) Duration: Ongoing Pay rate: £17 -£20 an hour Fawkes & Reece contact: Lewis Jones (Brighton office) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring a smooth, even finish for both new construction and renovation projects. As a plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing plaster, and applying it to surfaces with precision and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and priming walls, ceilings, and other areas to ensure optimal adhesion of plaster. Mix plaster to the required consistency and apply it evenly to surfaces using appropriate tools. Apply base and finishing coats of plaster to achieve smooth, level surfaces. Patch and repair damaged or cracked plaster and surfaces, ensuring a seamless finish. Work with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards. Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Communicate with clients and contractors to understand project needs and requirements.Qualifications: Proven experience as a plasterer or in a similar role. Knowledge of plastering techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
