Job Description

Health & Safety Advisor\\n\\nA leading Tier 1 contractor with offices in the south coast are seeking a experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the best contractors in the UK with over 100 years' experience as one of the paramount reputable contractors. This Health & Safety Advisor will play a key part within their existing Health & Safety team, reporting directly to the Senior H&S Manager.\\n\\nThe role of Health & Safety Advisor\\n\\nThis Tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in new build commercial projects, including education, healthcare, MOD & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions.

Traditionally valuing up to £150M across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Surrey for private and public framework clients. The role of Health & Safety Advisor will oversee up to six sites across the region.\\n\\nResponsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor\\n\\nEnsure company wide policies & procedures are met & maintained across sites.\\nRegularly visit sites carrying out audits alongside offering training and support where required, documenting via regular reports.\\nWithin this role you will be required to assist with projects and meetings from pre-con stage through to completion & handover. \\n\\nRequirements for Health & Safety Advisor \\n\\nRelevant NEBOSH certification, preferably a Chartered member of IOSH\\nStrong understanding of SHE legislation's\\nPrevious experience within the construction industry and preferably exposure working on similar value projects.
