This dynamic role offers a diverse range of responsibilities combining task based work alongside managerial duties. This niche contractor designs, manufactures and installs curtain Walls, doors and windows for blue chip clients throughout the South West. Their focus is on commercial projects, including education, healthcare, and hospitality, typically valued around £250K. Thanks to their exceptional service and consistent organic growth, they are now seeking a Managing Estimator to lead and oversee their Commercial Estimating department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to advance their career with a well-established company. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive tenders to maintain a steady pipeline of work for the company. Alongside preparing your own tenders, you will oversee a team of Estimators, ensuring all incoming enquiries are tendered and submitted to clients while addressing any variations. Additionally, you will manage the handover of successful projects to the construction teams, providing all necessary documentation and information to ensure smooth execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Estimating, with experience in curtain wall, door, and window projects. They will be eager to step into a leadership role within a thriving, growing company that is making its mark in the industry. The role – Managing a team of Commercial Estimators – Working on curtain wall, window and door Projects for blue chip clients – Ensure accurate and competitive tenders are being submitted to clients – Taking on key accounts, and tender for tricky tenders to build solid relationships and ensure repeat business.
