Estimator\\n\\nWe have a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business, a reputable regional contractor with a strong presence on the south coast, undertakes a diverse project portfolio which includes projects across the commercial, education, leisure and extra care sectors valuing up to £20mil. \\n\\nAbout the role of Estimator: \\n\\nAs Estimator, you will be working closely with the rest of the pre-construction team to compile competitive bids.

You will be able to tender projects independently and offer assistance to the junior members of the team. You may also be required to work with other Estimators on larger, more complex bids. \\n\\nKey Responsibilities as Estimator: \\n\\nWork from first principles \\nIndependently tender projects valuing up to £20mil.\\nWork collaboratively with Surveying and Operational teams to produce competitive tenders\\nSupport and mentor junior members of staff \\n\\nKey Requirements as Estimator: \\n\\nTrack record of successfully tendering schemes valued up to £20mil \\nExperience with competitive tendering and negotiated schemes\\nExperience with single and two-stage tenders.
