Job Description
Assistant or Trainee Health & Safety Advisor required to join for a regional civil engineering contractor based in Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Assistant Health & Safety Advisor will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager Traditionally these are negotiated projects for key clients with a good pipeline of future works across Dorset, Hampshire & Surrey \\n\\nReporting to the Health & Safety Manager and working alongside site teams and clients you will be responsible for driving Health & Safety across their projects & developing the health & safety policies and procedures within the business.
\\n\\nThis Assistant Health & Safety Advisor role will involve regular client liaison, construction methodology, monitoring of health and safety standards, risk assessments, method statements, quality control, identifying and mitigating potential risks, issue resolution and ensuring best practice is followed.\\n\\nThis Assistant Health & Safety Advisor role is with a busy regional South Coast based civils contractor group, with a turnover in excess of £80m, and secured workload across the South Coast.\\n\\nThis is an ideal opportunity for a Trainee/ Graduate Health & Safety advisor looking to grow and develop working regionally. With a professional & personal progression plan in place for the right candidate to grow as the business develops. \\n\\nYou will be a recently qualified with a NEBOSH certificate or relevant construction degree.
