Trainee Document Controller required to join a leading regional contractor based in Southampton, to aid with an array of commercial & residential projects including healthcare, education, industrial and office facilities ranging in value from £1M - £15M across the south coast.
As the Trainee Document Controller you will be working closely alongside the production and commercial teams, design consultancies and subcontractors. You will be responsible for seeing projects through from conception to completion.
This role will involve regular client interaction, controlling of the construction management systems, management of drawing documents, overseeing, and ensuring client return documents are sufficient with system standards as well as other ad-hoc administrative duties.
This position is with a busy regional south coast based main contractor group with a turnover excess of £90M, with a secured pipeline of work. You will preferably be experienced within the construction industry either previous experience within an administrative role or qualifications from a relevant construction degree. Procore or Viewpoint experience would be advantageous.
Key attributes will include exceptional communication skills, diligence, methodological mindset and a quality orientated nature.
