Salary: £37,000 - £41,000 per annum + van, fuel card & price work. This is a permanent position with a van and other benefits provided; there may be an initial temporary period via the agency depending on the candidate's situation.
We are looking for an experienced Electrician for the Electrical division of a Social Housing Contractor based in Wigan, working across the North West on Social Housing Refurbishment projects. The role involves working in both tenanted and void properties on a variety of planned and reactive maintenance jobs.
Duties:
- Carrying out Electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations within domestic and social housing properties.
- Testing, inspecting, and fault finding of electrical equipment.
- EICRs.
- Ensuring all administration related to repairs is complete.
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving License.
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395 inspection and testing (desirable).
- A good level of IT literacy.
- An understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
- ECS Gold Card (ideal but not essential).
- Experience working within Domestic/Social Housing properties.
