Roofer Required To Join A Repairs And Maintenance Team – Peterborough, Leicestershire & Northampton
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £22 per hour
Duration: 12 weeks with the chance of going permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join a Repairs and Maintenance team on a social housing project across Peterborough, Leicestershire and Northampton.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
- Carry out general roofing work on both pitched and flat roofs.
- Guttering installation and repairs.
- Work on flat roofing systems, including torch on felt application and felting techniques.
- Complete ridge work, including bedding and pointing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in general roofing, including pitched and flat roofs.
- Skilled in guttering installation and repair.
- Competent in flat roofing systems, including torch on felt application and felting techniques.
- Ability to strip back existing roofing materials safely and efficiently.
- Experience with ridge work, including bedding and pointing.
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 5 points).
Company van for work purposes and fuel card. Overtime and call outs available. Eligible for bonus up to 5%. 25 days annual leave + bank holidays & your birthday off (34 days total).
