We are looking for a Freelance Site Manager for our client based in the Northwest to oversee a project in Cardiff. The project is a retail store refurbishment on a 9-10 week contract, starting ASAP. This project is working day shift.
Works will include:
- Fixing a spine wall connected lift shaft
- Cladding
- M&E
- Some groundworks
The manager needs to have previous retail/shop refurbishment experience and be prepared to work some weekends/longer hours should the project require.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a retail store refurbishment project
- Oversee fix of spine wall, lift insulation, cladding, M&E, and some groundworks
- Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site
- Work with the client, chair progress meetings and work to designs
- Handle basic IT expectations
- Look after multiple trades on the site
Requirements:
- Experience as a Site Manager on retail refurbishment projects
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in a Site Manager position
- Be able to complete basic IT tasks
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Night shift Sunday to Thursday.
