Fawkes & Reece are currently looking for a Freelance Project Planner to support our construction projects across the Northwest. This is an ongoing project working 5 days a week. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities of a Freelance Project Planner:

  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project programmes using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA Power Projects, Microsoft Excel.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment of timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify paths, track progress, and manage potential delays proactively.
  • Support tender programmes and plan submissions for new bids.
  • Provide regular reports on progress, risks, and key metrics.
  • Assist in resource and cost planning.
  • Ensure compliance is within industry standards.

Requirements for a Freelance Project Planner:

  • 3+ years as a Project Planner.
  • Proficiency with planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA Power Projects, Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team.
