We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a long-term temporary position on a residential development in Wrexham with a reputable housebuilder. The successful candidate will have proven experience within volume housebuilding, with timber frame experience being essential. You will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring homes are constructed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the development Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site operatives Monitoring build progress and ensuring programmes are maintained Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards Managing site health & safety requirements and compliance Liaising with subcontractors, trades and the wider site team Carrying out quality inspections and assisting with snagging Ensuring company procedures, specifications and build standards are followed Requirements Proven Assistant Site Manager experience within volume housebuilding Timber frame experience - essential Recent experience in a similar residential housebuilding position Recent, verifiable references from a similar role within housebuilding Valid CSCS card - essential First Aid - essential SMSTS - SSSTS may be considered Strong knowledge of residential construction and build sequencing Good communication, organisational and leadership skills Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a site team What's on Offer Long-term temporary position Site based in Wrexham Opportunity to work with an established volume housebuilder Competitive rates - negotiable depending on experience Potential ongoing work for the right candidate If you have timber frame experience within volume housebuilding, hold the required qualifications and can provide recent references from a comparable position, we would be keen to hear from you.
