Senior Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected main contractor based in Woking. The business operates across several sectors including motor retail, public and private education, commercial and leisure valuing typically up to £10mil. Projects are a mix of new build and refurb and are typically administered via JCT forms of contract. As a result of organic growth, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects fom pre-construction through to final account. You will be reporting into the Surveying Director. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders Oversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packages Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise Liaise with the clients teams Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC Must live in a commutable location to Woking Must have the full right to work in the UK Whats on offer for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Salary: Up to £80k Car Allowance Solid pipeline of work in the region Opportunity for progression within a growing business This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Quantity Surveyor who's looking for a step up, or a Senior Quantity Surveyor who's looking for a change.
