As Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team on a D&B contract for the construction of 87 flats across 4 residential blocks between 3 & 4 storeys high valued at £25m. This is a full-time site-based role with office visits. The duration of this project is 2 years.

You will be based on site in Surrey/South West London. The company are an award winning developer/contractor who have been in the construction industry for over 25 years with a turnover of over £1bn. They are very busy at the moment with multiple upcoming projects in this region.

Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
  • Develop a detailed cost plan
  • Plan initial cost estimates
  • Identify financial risks
  • Compile and issue tender packages
  • Monitor project costs against the budget throughout the project's life cycle
  • Provide regular cost reports
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
  • Must have minimum of 4 years of experience at a contractor
  • Residential experience is ideal but not essential
  • Live within commutable distance to Surrey
  • Degree in a construction related subject is ideal
