We have an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to join a highly regarded regional main contractor based just outside of Winchester. The business is family owned, and operates out of several regional offices across the South of England. They are in a strong cash position, and have built an excellent reputation in the region. They operate across several key construction sectors including education, commercial, healthcare and industrial valuing up to £15mil.
As a result of continued growth in the region, they're now looking to expand the estimating team with an additional Estimator.
About the role of Estimator:
As Estimator, you will be responsible for working on tenders typically valuing up to £5mil. You will be working closely with the Bid teams and reporting into the Pre-Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Estimator:
- Work on tenders valuing up to £5mil
- Do your own take-offs and measurements
- Work collaboratively with the bid teams
Key Requirements as Estimator:
- Held an Estimator / Assistant Estimator position within a main contractor
- Have experience with both single and two-stage routes
- Have experience with JCT and NEC contract forms
- Live within commutable distance to Winchester and be happy to travel there / to site as required
- MUST have the full right to work in the UK
