We have an excellent opportunity for a recent university graduate to join a specialist interior design and fit-out contractor based in Poole, Dorset as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. The business undertakes projects across the commercial, education, hospitality, and public sectors, and cover designs, pre-construction, fit-out, and furniture on CAT A, A+, and B schemes. As a result of some recent project wins, they're now looking to expand their team with an additional Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between 50k - 2.0m.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

  • Help to manage subcontract procurement
  • Help to manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
  • Help to manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
  • Help to deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position:

  • Have a recent construction-related degree
  • Have some kind of practical experience
  • Must have the full right to work in the UK
  • Must live within commutable distance to Poole
