Projects in Manchester/Liverpool.
Freelance: £(Apply online only) per day dependant on project. Duration: Ongoing / long term / short term.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out setting out for works (foundations, drainage, steel frames etc)
- Use surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS) to establish site control points
- Check line, level, and dimensions of work before and during construction
- Interpret and work from drawings and specifications
- Identify discrepancies or design issues and raise RFI’s
- Monitor quality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Assist with snagging and defect resolution
- Ensure all works carried out compliant with H&S
- Support site managers in tracking progress
- Maintain daily and weekly records
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a site engineer on construction projects
- Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Experience working with subcontractors
Day rate / Salary
Day rate flexible. Weekly pay on a Friday.
