Site Engineer / Senior Engineer - Leading Groundworks and RC Contractor - 12Months + My client is a long established, leading Civil Engineering Contractor. They are presently delivering a major Groundworks Project which involves some RC elements and forms part of a £500m + project in Bristol. Additional elements comprise drainage systems and a new car park comprising 2000+ spaces. The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, as-builts and quality assurance. This phase of the project has a duration of at least 12 months but with the possibility of at least 2-3 years of work. At this time our client would consider those individuals seeking either permanent or long term contract work. Duties & Responsibilities Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations) Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management) Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
