Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Roofing Site Supervisor on behalf of a leading roofing contractor. This role will be based on a large warehouse project in the Filton area and is available for an immediate start. Our client is a specialist roof refurbishment contractor operating nationwide, delivering roofing repair and renewal projects across the commercial, industrial, retail, and education sectors.

Hours of work are 8 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements
  • SSSTS certification (essential)
  • IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience supervising roofing, cladding, or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site compliance
  • Ability to effectively coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and workforce activities
  • Review project plans, specifications, and work schedules
  • Coordinate roofing teams, subcontractors, and material deliveries
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with site regulations
  • Carry out quality inspections and monitor workmanship standards
  • Supervise roof deck preparation and installation activities
  • Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates to management
Scope of Works

The successful candidate will oversee the installation and inspection of:

  • Flashing systems and fittings
  • Sash windows
  • Metal roofing panels and associated roofing systems
  • Insulation and vapour barrier installations
  • Roof drainage systems, including gutters, outlets, and down pipes
  • Skylights, roof hatches, and roof penetrations
