We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Document Controller based in central London for 2 - 3 months, working for an award-winning, well-established, Tier 1 contractor. As Document Controller, you will be working for a well-established contractor who specialises in RC Frame Multi Storey, Hotels, Student accommodation and luxury apartments.
The ideal Document Controller candidate will have worked in a construction environment, should be detail-focused and comfortable communicating all issues clearly to the site supervisor. The main focus of this role will be administration, maintaining records and overseeing document control for regulatory and legal compliance. You will also sort induction paperwork, filing and take minutes. This role will be based in Drury Lane with occasional site visits, with clients in Greenwich.
Role and Responsibilities:- Carrying out administration requests from the management team as required.
- Maintain records to oversee document control for regulatory and legal compliance.
- Able to sort induction paperwork for new starters on site.
- Filing and taking minutes.
- Answering emails and phone calls and transferring them as necessary.
Social distancing guidelines in place. Sanitisation, disinfection or cleaning procedures in place.
Skills and Certificates required:- CSCS card preferred - but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy and word processing skills.
- Good administrative skills.
- An organised and methodical approach to working.
- The ability to work to deadlines.
