We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our Swindon office. You will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service to our customers, the daily running of the site and ensuring a safe environment for all who work on or visit the site. You need to be computer savvy to respond to the growing use of technology in construction generally and daily site procedures. This contractor specializes in newbuild and refurbishment schemes between £5m - £30m in a mix of sectors such as education, healthcare, MOD, blue light, commercial and industrial.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Examining all construction information for accuracy, completeness and discrepancies, liaising with consultants and sub-contractors to ensure a satisfactory information flow in line with company information release schedule and technical queries.
  • Understanding the contract programme, updating and tracking progress on a weekly basis using ASTA.
  • Producing short term programmes related to the main construction programme.
  • Managing materials procurement in line with project construction programme procurement schedule.
  • Managing and co-ordinating sub-contractors' attendance on site and ensuring work is carried out in a timely manner.
  • Implementing and maintaining the quality test and inspection plans.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with Company procedures, project specifications, drawings and current regulations and standards.
