We have an excellent opportunity for a Bid Writer to join a renowned main contractor based in Swindon. The business turns over over 200mil across the group, and works across several sectors including education & further education, defence, commercial, student accommodation and healthcare valuing up to 30mil. They work with both public and private sector clients, and are engaged in several national and local authority framework agreements. They're now looking to expand the pre-construction team with a highly capable Bid Writer.
About the role of Bid Writer:
As Bid Writer, you will be working within the pre-construction team, having the technical understanding to write compelling and accurate bids. You will be responsible for working on all bids, with a particular focus on frameworks.
Key responsibilities as a Bid Writer:
- Write engaging and compelling bids with specific client focuses
- Review and answer tender questions
- Edit and review content
- Support bid teams through submissions, reviews and post-bid feedback
- Understand feedback and continually develop bid writing skills
Key requirements for this Bid Writer role:
- Must have experience working within a construction company previously in a similar role
- Ideally will have experience working on frameworks
- Must live within commutable distance to Swindon and be happy to commute
- Must have the full right to work in the UK
