Sustainability Graduate MUST HAVE SUSTAINABILITY/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION Perm Role Full time Office based – Central London Upto £30k Fawkes & Reece are working with a large main contractor in the recruiting of a Sustainability Graduate to join their growing team. The newly formed Sustainability function is responsible for ensuring that all of our company and client reporting standards are met across all projects and the company are operating in-line with all sustainability policies and strategies . This role will be key in developing and rolling out the processes and working procedures for all sites and company office locations and proactively working with our subcontractors to ensure sustainability compliance across our whole supply chain. You will report directly into the Head of Sustainability and all training will be provided within the role. We are looking for someone with a qualification/ degree within Sustainability or environmental and someone who is wanting to persue a career within this sector. The company have a large pipeline of current and upcoming projects and specialise in resi, commercial, education and hotel projects. You will be based within an office in London and will also get the opportunity to visit a number of their sites. Roles/Responsibilities; Defining the project reporting requirements at project start-up (based on client’s needs). Help develop ESG strategy and roll-out plan. Help develop our supply chain training and educational documentation. Set-up, train and monitor project sustainability reporting software and ensure data entry compliance across all platforms (including client’s software). Work with our Design Management teams to ensure compliance with BREEAM requirements and any additional standards specific to the projects (NABERS, WELL, AirRated etc.). Train employees and help educate the company to defined standards within ESG (in-line with training and development strategy). Work with project teams to develop, monitor and record community social benefit. Help prepare tender documents when required. Generate process instructions and procedures when required to support the function and business. Lead initiatives on project sites and company wide. Produce reports and analysis when required (excel, PowerPoint etc.).Start date is ASAP.
