My client is a Leading, Tier 1 Construction Company. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent / Site Agent to join their Civil Engineering business working initially on a circa £10m Civils and Rail Project in the Woodstock area of Oxfordshire.
In support of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, and have responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements. You will be closely supported by a dedicated site team and a very experienced Works Manager.
Due to the nature of this project, the successful individual will be required to work a mixture of day and night shifts with the latter attracting a sizeable rate uplift. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 9-12 months.
Requirements:- Experience of civil engineering projects
- Ideally experience of working on rail sector projects
- PTS, CSCS and SMSTS required
- A degree or equivalent in a construction related discipline
- Proven technical and site management abilities in the Built environment
- Strong organisational and management skills
- Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
- Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work
- Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
