My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company. They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Sub Agent to work on projects in the region. The company specialise in the following sectors:
- Highways & Structures
- Infrastructure & Public Realm
- Ports, Rivers & Marine
- MOD & Defence
- Aviation
- Water & Wastewater
Initially, the successful individual will be assisting the existing site team who are in the process of delivering a large development infrastructure project. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects. Sub Agent duties include assisting the Site Agent with the successful and timely delivery of the projects:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries
