We are looking for someone who comes from a Finance Director or CFO background with a construction or civil engineering business and has experience of helping grow businesses, saving money, embedding good accounting procedures into their team and running financial reports for board meetings within the business.
Responsibilities:- Lead the finance team in delivering accurate financial statements and reports for board meetings.
- Strategic financial planning to support business growth and cost management.
- Implement robust accounting procedures, controls and internal audit practices.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to aid business decisions and commercial evaluations.
- Work closely with the board and executive team to provide financial guidance and reporting.
- Proven experience as Finance Director or CFO in construction or civil engineering environment.
- Strong background in financial reporting, analysis and governance.
- Track record of driving financial growth, cost savings and process improvements.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at Board level.
- UK-based or eligible to work in UK.
