Health & Safety Advisor required to join a regional contractor based in the south coast. The ideal candidate will have some previous onsite construction experience. Projects vary between public and private contracts.

About the role:

As Health & Safety Advisor, you will be joining an existing long-standing team, reputable throughout the industry. Operating on a regional basis across the south coast including Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. This could be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to transition into health & safety from an operational background or someone starting their career in Health & Safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that safety systems and environmental considerations are thoroughly assessed, mitigated where possible, and accurately costed during project planning.
  • Undertake site inspections and actively contribute to training and ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Collect, analyse, and present HSQE and sustainability data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Relevant HSQE Qualification, either NEBOSH General or NEBOSH in Construction.
  • Ability to travel to various sites throughout the South Coast.
  • Significant previous construction site-based experience.
