A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project at the forefront of the UK's transition to renewable energy. This role is based on a landmark offshore wind development off the Suffolk coast, forming a critical part of Britain's national grid upgrade and clean energy strategy. The project will enable the transmission of up to 1GW of offshore wind power - enough to supply nearly one million homes - making it a key contributor to the UK's net zero ambitions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering the onshore substation works, ensuring robust commercial management across a complex and high-value engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial and contractual management of onshore substation works
- Oversee cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders
