As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will support the procurement of materials, plant, and subcontract services, ensuring competitive quotations are assessed and orders are placed in line with project timelines. You will assist in managing subcontract packages, overseeing valuations and contractual processes, while maintaining accurate project records and monitoring payments for labour, plant, and materials to ensure effective commercial control.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Proven track record of Assistant Quantity Surveying ideally 3-5 years post grad experience
- Academically Qualified with a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Background within a main contractor or developer environment
- Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills able to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively
Salary & Package on offer:
- Base £35,000 - £45,000
- Car allowance or company car
- 28 days holidays + bank holidays + holiday buy back scheme (up to 5 days)
