We have an excellent opportunity to join a regional main contractor based in Reading. The business undertakes projects across education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. As a result of some recent project wins, they are now looking to expand their team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project valued between £1m - £15m.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

  • Manage sub-contract procurement
  • Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
  • Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
  • Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

  • Have a HNC / construction related degree
  • Have administered JCT form of contract
  • Must have the full right to work in the UK
  • Must live within commutable distance to Reading
