Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Clean 525- 625 per day PAYE Duration: Contract basis, with potential for extension Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support the commercial delivery of clean and foul water mains projects across Surrey. The successful candidate will take commercial ownership of allocated projects, working closely with project managers, delivery teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced utilities QS with strong water-sector experience who is comfortable managing multiple projects within a busy delivery environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial performance of clean and foul water mains projects from commencement through to completion. Prepare, manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost/value reports. Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Review and assess variations, compensation events, change orders and contractual entitlement. Ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
