Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regional contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working across projects throughout the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established and highly respected regional contractor with a strong pipeline of work across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered commercially and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing project costs and commercial performance
- Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- Monitoring budgets and forecasting project spend
- Producing cost reports and commercial updates
- Liaising with site teams, clients and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle
- Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
- Main contractor experience preferred
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
