About the role of Quantity Surveyor
Your role as Quantity Surveyor will be to work as part of a commercial team on a £100m+ high rise project. This will consist of 2 towers of up to 36 storeys and include residential, retail, leisure and office. You will be required to manage packages from procurement and tender through to site and final accounting.
You role will include, but not limited too:
- Managing subcontract packages
- Managing payments to subcontractors
- Valuations and variations
- Subcontractor negotiations
- CVRs
The initial project is in Central/South East London and you must be willing to work on site in 5 days per week.
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor
The company are looking for a candidate with experience working with another main contractor managing packages under JCT contract. Someone who is capable of working as part of a team and also manage their work independently.
- You will have a construction related degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Quantity Surveyor
- Live within commutable distance to the project location
