My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor that operates primarily in South Wales and the Southwest. They are looking for two Project Managers currently for the following:

  • A major highways project in Gloucester where they are subcontractors delivering several large and heavy structures along a 5 kilometre route of new road.
  • A major flood defence project in Bridgwater where they are delivering FRC works for the main structure.

The successful candidates will have a high level of technical experience and knowledge of temporary works, structural steel, formwork and reinforced concrete structures. The company are open to considering candidates seeking both permanent and contract opportunities.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management, organisation, and successful delivery of this complex construction project. You will play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • Strong contractual awareness with proven experience delivering NEC4 contracts, including effective change management.
  • Hands‑on experience with formwork and temporary works.
  • Demonstrated leadership and site management capability.
  • Ability to manage programmes, mitigate delays, and respond to change.
  • Experience in tidal or marine construction (preferred).
