The business works on a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from large-scale urban regeneration schemes and affordable housing developments to private residential communities and strategic partnerships with local authorities and housing associations.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in delivering project commercial strategies, taking full responsibility for managing subcontract packages and implementing effective tender and procurement processes. You will drive project cashflow through proactive commercial management, oversee tender enquiries and subcontract orders, and work closely with the Commercial Lead to agree main and subcontract final accounts.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
- Proven track record of Quantity Surveying ideally 6-8 years post grad experience
- Academically Qualified with a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Background within a main contractor or developer environment
- Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills able to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively
Salary & Package on offer:
- Base £50,000 - £55,000
- Car allowance or company car
- 28 days holidays + bank holidays + holiday buy back scheme (up to 5 days)
