Fawkes & Reece are currently looking for an experienced Telehandler Driver to join a busy housing development in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler safely and efficiently, assisting with the movement of materials around the site and supporting the wider site team with day-to-day construction activities.

Duties

  • Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently on a busy housing site
  • Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
  • Assisting trades and site management where required
  • Carrying out daily checks of the telehandler
  • Following all site health and safety procedures
  • Keeping work areas clear and organised
  • Working as part of the wider site team

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
  • Previous experience operating a telehandler on a construction site
  • Relevant construction site experience
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Full PPE
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
