We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager / Project Engineer to join a growing Power Division delivering major electricity infrastructure projects that support the UK's transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy network. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the engineering delivery of complex HV cable route projects, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for some of the most challenging infrastructure environments in the UK.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging engineering design and project delivery, ensuring technical solutions are safe, buildable, commercially viable and compliant from concept through to construction.
The Opportunity:
- Lead the engineering and technical coordination of cable route projects involving:
- High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) infrastructure
- Grid connections and network reinforcement schemes
- Underground cable routes
- Trenchless installation solutions
- Major crossings involving highways, railways, rivers and other critical infrastructure
- Complex stakeholder and statutory approval processes
