The Contracts Manager role:
You will be responsible for overseeing approximately 3-5 live projects at any one time
You will be responsible for the overall operational, commercial and client-facing management of your projects, working closely with the senior management team, clients, site teams and subcontractors.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Attending regular client meetings, progress meetings and project reviews
Reviewing programmes, project progress, costs and delivery performance
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
Managing subcontractors and supply chains
Identifying and resolving operational issues across multiple sites
Providing leadership and support to site-based management teams
Requirements for the Contracts Manager:
Previous experience in a drainage/ Infrastructure/ Earthworks/ Commercial Projects
An experienced Contracts Manager within the civils sector whom is comfortable managing 3-5 projects simultaneously
Strong and confident when dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
Experienced in attending client and project meetings
Experienced in tenders, bids and pre-construction
Strong in managing and developing site teams
Commercially and operationally aware
