About the role of Site Manager

Looking for a site manager to work on a long term commercial build. The project value is £5,000,000. Looking for someone who has experience delivering commercial, or refurbishment projects at a value over £1,000,000.

Responsibilities of Site Manager

  • Manage the day-to-day running of site
  • Supervise subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
  • Carry out site inspections and maintain high standards throughout the project
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and health and safety documentation
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and the wider project team
  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

Requirements of Site Manager

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager
  • Valid SMSTS CSCS black card
  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety regulations
  • Full UK driving licence

The project is a commercial build and has a long duration.
