We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established residential housing team on a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Leyland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-quality new build housing development alongside an experienced and supportive site team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 year's experience within traditional residential new build projects, with a strong eye for quality and finishing standards. Candidates who come from a joinery or multi-skilled trades background would be highly desirable, with hands-on experience in finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
  • Coordinate and oversee finishing trades across multiple plots
  • Manage snagging lists and ensure defects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Carry out quality inspections throughout key stages of the build process
  • Assist with customer care procedures, including plot handovers and home demonstrations
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure programme deadlines and quality standards are maintained
  • Support and promote health & safety compliance across site
  • Ensure all homes meet company standards and NHBC (or equivalent) requirements
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with site teams, subcontractors, and customers
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential house building
  • Strong understanding of finishing works, snagging, and quality control processes
  • Experience working on volume housing developments
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple plots and subcontractors effectively
  • Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification
