Location: Leeds/West Yorkshire
Salary: Β£35,000/Β£40,000 + package and bonuses
Adoptions Engineer/Technical Coordinator required for our client to manage the handover and legal transfer of infrastructure (roads, sewers, and open spaces) from local authorities or utility companies.
Responsibilities:
- Section Agreements: manage legal agreements, primarily focusing on Section 38 (roads), Section 278 (highway modifications), and Section 104 (sewers).
- Defect Resolution: Identify and coordinate necessary remedial works or maintenance issues to bring infrastructure up to adoptable standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with build teams, consultants, solicitors, and management companies to successfully transfer estate areas.
Key Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK adoption legislation, Section Agreements, and land transfer processes.
- Qualifications: Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
