You will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Procurement of materials & plant for new build housing developments
  • Placement and control of orders, ensuring commercial awareness
  • Liaising with supply chain regarding product availability, cost control, invoices queries
  • To prepare material schedules from contract drawings as required
  • Management of 3-4 live developments along with procuring 1-2 site commencement
  • Commercial administration

Experience / Qualifications Required:

  • Experience of working as an Assistant Buyer within the housebuilding sector
  • Good IT skills and use of Excel & other procurement software

  • Academically qualified in a relevant domain, procurement, business administration etc.
  • Organised and methodical
