We are currently seeking an experienced site engineer to join a major warehouse construction project in Corby. The successful site engineer will be responsible for providing accurate site setting out and engineering support throughout the project, working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out accurate setting out and surveying duties across the warehouse project.
  • Establish and maintain control points, grids, levels and benchmarks.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical support and ensure works are completed to the required tolerances.
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors and other engineering teams.
  • Complete relevant quality and inspection records.
  • Ensure all works comply with health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a reliable and technically competent setting out engineer with previous experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial or warehouse projects.
  • The ideal setting out engineer will have strong knowledge of construction surveying, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently on a busy site.
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction or Surveying are preferred, along with experience using surveying equipment such as Total Stations and GPS.
